Dr. A. Muthu Manokar

Dr. A. Muthu Manokar

Dr. A. Muthu Manokar was born in Thiruthangal, Virudhunagar District, Tamil Nadu, India, in 1989. He received his B.E. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Sree Sowdambika College of Engineering, Aruppukottai, in 2011, and his M.E. degree in Energy Engineering from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, in 2013. In 2019, he received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. Additionally, in 2023, he obtained his AMIE degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (IEI), Kolkata, India. Dr. Manokar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai. His research focuses on Solar Desalination, Solar Water Heaters, and Solar Photovoltaic systems. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience. To date, Dr. Manokar has published 145 research papers in international journals and contributed 3 book chapters. He has also presented 58 papers at international conferences and 5 at national conferences. His work has received over 5,500 citations, and he has an h-index of 44 (Source: Scopus). His cumulative impact factor is 565.2, with the highest individual impact factor of 16.3. He has been ranked among the Top 2% of researchers in the world in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, based on citations and h-index, as published by Elsevier BV and Stanford University. His rankings are as follows: 

  • In 2020, he was ranked 120,154th out of 1,90,064 researchers. 
  • In 2021, he improved to 73,052nd out of 2,00,410 researchers. 
  • In 2022, he further advanced to 48,900th out of 2,10,198 researchers. 
  • In 2023, he ranked 68,579th out of 2,23,153 researchers. 

He received the Young Faculty Research Award for outstanding performance and dedication to research for the academic year 2018-2019 during the B.S. Abdur Rahman Faculty Awards on September 5, 2019. Additionally, he was honored with the Academic Professional Icon Award for his exceptional dedication and commitment to student members, highlighting the importance of academics and research at the college. This award was presented by the Institution of Engineers India (IEI), Tamil Nadu State Centre (TVLC), during their 3rd Annual General Meeting and TISLA Award ceremony on November 16, 2019, at the IEI TVLC premises, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute. He also received the Best Young Faculty (Male) award in recognition of his exceptional performance for the year 2019-2020 at the B.S. Abdur Rahman Faculty Awards on September 6, 2021. Furthermore, he was honored with the Best Young Scientist Award (Below 40 Years) for outstanding achievements by the Global Education and Corporate Leadership (GECL-2021) Awards during the 4th International Annual Awards Summit at Tula's Institute, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, on December 18, 2021.

Prof. Necib Brahim

Prof. Necib Brahim

Prof. Necib Brahim is a Full Professor and Head of research in Mechanical Engineering Department at Frères Mentouri Constantine 1 Algeria. He received his Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Polytechnic School at Algiers, Algeria in 1980; his Master Degree in 1982 and his PhD in 1987 from the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University W. Lafayette, Indiana USA. He is interested on the development of analytical, numerical and experimental technics for solving problems in Mechanical and Aeronautical engineering and new composite materials applications in high technologies and energies. Also, his research has been focused on the Computational Structure Dynamics (CSD), the stress analysis of orthotropic and smart materials as well as the crack propagations using the finite element models. As a result of his research, he is a principal or co-principal investigator on about 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, more than 200 communications to international and national conferences; 5 books and 2 books chapters. Currently, Prof. NECIB Brahim is a Team Leader in the Laboratory of Mechanics (LaboMec), an Editorial Board Member and reviewer for different international journals, a General Chair of one national conference and an active member in different national and international associations.

Prof. Zied Driss

Prof. Zied Driss

Prof. Zied Driss is Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National School of Engineers of Sfax (ENIS). He received his Engineering Diploma in 2001, his Master Degree in 2003, his PhD in 2008 and his HDR in 2013 in Mechanical Engineering from ENIS at University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is interested on the development of numerical and experimental techniques for solving problems in mechanical engineering and energy applications. Also, his research has been focused on the interaction between Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Structure Dynamics (CSD) codes. As a result of his research, he is principal or co-principal investigator on more than 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals, more than 500 communications to international conferences, 30 books and 95 books chapters. Also, he is the main inventors of 10 patents. Currently, Prof. Driss is a Team Leader in the Laboratory of Electromechanical Systems (LASEM), an Editorial Board Member and reviewer for different international journals, an Editor for different books, a General Chair of two bi-annual international conferences and an active member in different national and international associations.

Prof. Yasmina Lahiouel is Full Professor in the Department of Process Engineering at University 8 Mai 1945 of Guelma (ALGERIA). She received her Engineering Diploma in 1992, her Master Degree in 1994 and her doctorate in 2006 in Fluid Mechanics from University of Annaba, ALGERIA. She does research in Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.

Prof. Nourredine Belghar is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Biskra, Algeria. He received his Engineering, mechanical Diploma in 1991, his Master Degree in 2003, his PhD in 2011 in Mechanical Engineering from at University of Constantine and his HDR in 2015 at University of Biskra, Algeria. He is interested in the numerical simulation and experimental techniques for solving problems in systems engineering and energy applications.his research has been focused on the interaction between Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes. Also materials and thermal habitat, characterization of bio-fiber-based biomaterials for thermal insulation and energy calculation, pollution and acoustics in architecture by numerical simulation As a result of his research, he is principal or co-principal investigator on more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals, more than 60 communications to international and national conferences, Also, he is the main inventors of 1 patent. Currently,Dr. Belghar is a member of Project in the laboratory energy engineering and materials (LGEM), a member of the scientific committee and organizing committee at international conferences. Dr. Belghar is currently a member of the Energy and Materials Engineering Laboratory (LGEM).

Prof. Hani Benguesmia

Prof. Hani Benguesmia

Prof. Hani Benguesmia was born in Bou-saada, M'sila, Algeria. He received his DEUA diploma in 2006, his Engineering Diploma in 2009, his magister Degree in 2012, in 2018 in Electrical Engineering from Mohamed Kheider University, Biskra, and his HDR in 2020 in Electrical Engineering from Mohamed Boudiaf University, M’sila, Algeria. He has been working for more than ten years with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of M'sila, as a Professor. His main research interests include high voltage, outdoor insulation, CFD simulation, numerical modeling and simulation. He is the author or co-author of several technical papers published in different journals and reviews. As a result of his research, he is the principal or co-principal investigator on more than forty papers in peer-reviewed journals, over one hundred communications to national and international conferences, three books, and three book chapters. Currently, Dr. Benguesmia is a member of the Laboratory of Electrical Engineering (LGE), a reviewer for various international journals, a member of more than four national and international conferences.

Prof. Zidani Mosbah is currently a Full Professor in the Faculty of Technology at Batna 2 University. He is the chief of a research team in the LGEM Laboratory at the University of Biskra. He is particularly interested in the development and characterization of innovative metallic materials. He was chairman of the scientific committee of the metallurgy department, member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Science and Technology and chairman of several doctoral training at the University from Biskra and currently he is a Scientific advisor at the MESRS and President of the regional commission of University ability at the Cru-Est. The research axes currently developed are mainly focused on the experimental study of the microstructures, deformation and recrystallization texture of metal alloys by SEM, EBSD, RX and neutron diffraction Prof. ZIDANI is the author of over forty five (45) international scientific papers (indexed by: Thomson Reuters /Scopus -Elsevier). He has over 160 participation in national and international conferences in the last ten years, which he has presented dozens national and international plenary conferences as an Invited Speaker. Pr. ZIDANI has chaired and organized several national and international scientific events and also member of the scientific committee in more than fifty (50) national and international scientific events. He is the main Editor of the special issue of journals (DF, DDF and SSP indexed by: Scopus -Elsevier) of the scientific.net house in Switzerland and also Editor, Editorial Board member and Evaluation expert (Reviewer) in several high level journals (Steel research international, Journal of failure analysis and prevention, JERA, JNanoR, Journal of Molecular Liquids, JMES…. indexed by: Web of Science and Scopus-Elsevier). Prof. ZIDANI has directed and discussed fourteen (14) doctoral theses and more than thirty five (35) master’s degree and final projects for engineering students. Supervision of Master START-UP projects (according to decree 1275) supported in July and September 2023, in collaboration with an industrial partner from a vital national socio-economic sector and in cooperation with research teams from laboratories of Algerian universities. Prof. ZIDANI has directed several national research projects (CNEPRU, PNR, PRFU, etc.) with industrial partners, particularly public, in this case: ENICAB-Biskra and TREFISOUD-El Eulma (Sétif), with several national research centers and laboratories: Advanced Technology Development Center (CDTA), Baba Hassan-Algiers (Algeria ), Materials Science and Engineering Laboratory (LSGM),USTHB-Algiers (Algeria), Center for Scientific and Technical Research in Physico-chemical Analysis (CRAPC), Tipaza (Algeria) and with the following international laboratories and institutions: Laboratory Synthesis, Properties and Modeling of Materials (SP2M), Léon Brillouin Laboratory (LLB)/CEA in France, Bioceramics and Theoretical Atomic laboratory, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Firat University-Elazig, Turkey , Functional Nanocomposite/Hybrid, Low Dimentional Functional Material Group,Research Center for Advanced Material, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Indonesia and Ecole Nationale l’Ingénieur de Sfax, Tunisia.

Dr. Rachid Renane is Doctor (HDR) Teacher and Researcher at Institute of Aeronautics & Space Studies (Ex-Head of the Department of Space Studies), University of Blida1, Algeria. He is interested on the development of numerical and experimental techniques for solving problems in Aerospace and mechanical engineering field. His research has been focused on the Aerodynamics for aircraft applications, Aerothermochimical for space shuttle mission and combustion for aero-engine combustor. The research tools used are test benches, numerical simulation software and programming languages. As a result of his research, he is principal or co-principal investigator of 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals, more than 20 communications to international conferences, and 03 books chapters. Currently, Dr Renane is a Team Member in the Laboratory of Aeronautics Sciences and Leader of Propulsion Space Specialty.
